AALHE invites you to join this webinar on the intersection of assessment and inclusion. As institutions strive to develop thoughtful and thorough assessments of their needs, processes, and outcomes, it is critical that inclusion be embedded throughout such efforts. In this webinar, two national experts will discuss how institutions can conduct assessments with an intentional emphasis on inclusion. The panelists will share lessons learned, especially with regard to the impact of assessment practices and results on various student populations. Attendees will also learn how effective assessments of co-curricular programs and services can positively influence students’ overall campus experience. The session will conclude with a discussion of implications for future practice, including how professionals can collaborate on inclusion-focused assessments.

Panelists will be Laura Wankel, Senior Advisor for Strategic Initiatives to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Education Innovation, Northeastern University, and Gianina Baker, Assistant Director, National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA). The webinar will be moderated by Amelia Parnell, Vice President for Research & Policy, NAPSA-Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.
