LEAP Texas was disappointed with the difficult, but necessary, decision to cancel the in-person 7th Annual LEAP Texas Conference in response to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. However, we are happy to announce the launch of the 7th Annual LEAP Texas Conference Webinar Series! This series will feature a number of the Concurrent Session presentations that were scheduled for the Conference. The first part of this series will run from April 21 through May 8, 2020, with additional presentations coming over the summer.

Andrew Clark – University of Texas at Arlington
Justin Dellinger – University of Texas at Arlington
This panel showcases an open access Student Teamwork Guide and companion Instructor Guide created by faculty and staff at the University of Texas at Arlington to help enhance and assess a Texas Core Learning Objective: Teamwork. The guide is currently being piloted by students and instructors in First Year Experience, Transfer, and other courses at the university. The panel consists of three parts: describing the creation of the guide, including challenges with universal design, the implementation of the guide, and the use of assessment tools to meet the Student Learning Outcomes developed as part of the university’s Quality Enhancement Plan.
