Call for Proposals for Transforming Institutions Conference

The Transforming Institutions Conference is designed to bring together researchers, faculty, change agents, administrators, center staff and directors, and policymakers to focus on transforming undergraduate education. Participants will have the opportunity to identify critical questions facing institutional change, foster connections with colleagues interested in change, and address important topics related to transforming institutions in higher education.

We invite submissions of both early and mature projects that focus on all aspects of institutional change, including change outcomes, change processes, and contexts of change. We encourage submissions from groups as well as individuals for presentations, workshops, or posters. We also encourage presentations from specific communities, such as minority-serving institutions, community colleges, STEM Education Centers, & Centers for Teaching and Learning with a STEM focus.

We invite submissions related to topics such as:

  • Connecting Change Theory and Practice
  • Evaluating and/or Measuring Change
  • Change leadership
  • Promoting Access, Equity and Inclusion
  • Aligning faculty incentives with systemic change
  • Learning Spaces
