The postsecondary CBE research team at American Institutes for Research is excited to announce the third National Research Collaborative on Competency-Based Education & Learning webinar: The Evolving Role of Faculty in CBE Programs: Considerations for Research. This webinar, taking place Thursday, June 25th, 2020 from 2-3 PM ET, will explore the faculty role in CBE programs, digging into how that role has evolved over time and may continue to do so especially with increased attention to online learning. Special attention will be given to the role research has to play in understanding and informing the faculty experience in CBE programs. Presenters will include Brooks Doherty, Assistant Vice President of Academic Innovation at Rasmussen University, George Swindell, Assistant Professional Faculty at Texas A&M University-Commerce, and Michelle Navarre Cleary, Associate Provost for Learning at College Unbound.
